- He began in telecom as a marketing support programmer and became a core contributor to an early marketing-intelligence data warehouse initiative, championing data governance with business leaders and owners. That success propelled him into consulting, where he led a 50-person Data Warehouse practice serving banking, financial services, insurance, and pharma clients—and he and his team began applying machine learning as early as 2001.
- At Ernst & Young’s Insurance practice, Steve led the Actuarial Transformation Solution, embedding best practices in data integration, quality, and governance. His work cut actuarial data preparation from three weeks to three days, and he presented on the topic to the Society of Actuaries while being quoted in multiple industry publications.
- He later led data quality remediation and exception integration at Barclays Capital, running cross-functional steering and working committees, and then spent a decade in TCS’s Banking & Financial Services practice with top-10 banks, deepening expertise in data integration, governance, and cleansing.
- Since 2022, Steve’s AI journey has focused on helping small businesses boost SEO and product rollouts—now leveraging generative AI to accelerate outcomes while maintaining rigorous data discipline.
