Known for his deep analytical skill set, Marco brings extensive expertise in valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction execution, supporting organizations through high-stakes decisions and transformative growth opportunities.

In addition to his banking background, Marco has served in CFO leadership roles, overseeing financial strategy, planning, and operational frameworks that enable organizations to scale. He is recognized for building robust finance functions, driving insights that shape investment and growth plans, and aligning financial performance with long-term strategic objectives. Marco holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 

Mark Dangelo


Mark Dangelo is the founder of AXTent, a firm advancing next-generation data architectures, AI-driven reinvention, and enterprise data modernization.  His work bridges strategy, regulation, and capital, helping organizations translate emerging data and compliance frameworks — such as the Financial Data Transparency Act (FDTA) and Standard Business Reporting (SBR) — into practical innovation and measurable results.

With experience leading restructurings, M&A integrations, and data transformations across more than 20 countries, Mark brings a unique blend of operational insight and forward-looking design to how firms manage, govern, and mobilize information.

He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Design and Innovation at Case Western Reserve University, is the author of five books on M&A and transformative innovation, and has been a 22-year columnist for the National Mortgage Bankers Association in Washington, D.C., and is a monthly writer for Thomson Reuters Institute on AI leadership.  His recent research and advisory work explore how AI, data fabrics, and regulatory interoperability can reshape compliance, profitability, and investment ecosystems.
